I have chosen the development of science as the theme of my content curation post for brief 2 and am going to analyze it through the movies which are based on scientific discoveries. The movies could be fiction or non-fiction. The most valuable reason why I chose it is that we are all in the 21st century, where everything is undergoing globalization. All inventions and actions are mostly based on science or technology and people have gotten used to it. It seems like everything in this world, is under the control of science.
Digital media technology is a great organization to reach out the things happen immediately to everyone. Nowadays, Movie or film is an optical artwork used to simulate experiences that communicate ideas, stories, feelings, beauty or atmosphere through sounds with other emotionally recorded or programmed moving images. Movies are cultural artefacts created by specific cultures. They reflect those cultures and in turn affect them. The film is considered an important art form, a source of popular entertainment and a powerful medium for educating. Film distribution is the process of making a film available to viewers. Watching the movies can often be something many of us look forward to, which allows us to relax, unwind and have a good time. While watching a movie, you experience different emotions without facing the side effect of real life. It assists us to relax, reduce tension and promote motivation for real life. The movie could be a provider of laugh and bonding time as you watch comedy movies with friends. With today’s fast-paced life, people can become so busy and feel stressed, so movies are the best entertainment to relieve stress. That is why I am choosing movies as my format.
I have chosen ten movies based on scientific discoveries. Science fiction is a kind of a movie’s gender and the collection of movies I have chosen, mostly includes science fiction, such as, Sun Shine, Contact, Twelve Monkeys, Jurassic Park, Awakenings, Life Story, The Andromeda Strain, The Invisible Man, 2001: A Space Odyssey and And The Band Played On. Even though some films were successful, many received criticisms from its fans and people as they were filmed against the reality. However, many find the reels of movies disappointing, but it might have been inserted to appease teenage audiences. I will effectively analyze them and explain what stands out about each one. There are numerous interesting facts in my collection. There are multiple science fiction and non-fiction movies apart from my collection. Hopefully, for everyone who is interesting in my content and is hungry for reading, my next post will be a treat.
